Etienne Rugigana

Dr Etienne RUGIGANA, MD, MPH, MSc, is an Assistant Lecturer in Epidemiology at the National University of Rwanda’s School of Public Health.  He holds a Master in Public Health and a Master in Science of Epidemiology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.  He has two years of experience as a pediatric medical officer and three years experience as a district medical officer in Rwanda; and has been involved in training of nurses and midwives.  He has extensive field experience with humanitarian agencies involved in clinical and public health activities in Southern Sudan and Somalia.  He is interested in research on HIV/AIDS.
