Stefy Karugu

Ms. Stefy Karugu is the Administrative and Financial Manager of the School of public Health/NUR; She has been with the School since its creation in October 2000. As the person in charge of Administration and Finance of the School, Ms. Karugu supervises the financial department; and is responsible for overseeing the establishment and management of effective and accountable financial and administrative systems. She is also charged with monitoring the School’s multiple grants and contracts by providing financial oversight and reporting on all grants, contracts and subcontracts of the School of Public Health, National University of Rwanda (SPH/NUR). Mrs Karugu also manages the Kicukiro Training Centre, which is a revenue-generating unit of the School of Public Health. Karugu is excellent in French and fluent in English, She received her Honours Degree in Economics from the National University of Rwanda, her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and her MBA in Strategic Management Finance from the University of Natal, Durban South Africa.
